Physics Layered Curriculum Whole Year Bundle

All 20 Unit Overviews, 4 Editable Physics Quizzes per Unit, 10-14 Multiple Choice Questions, Two Versions for each unit, Two Retakes for each unit, Keys Included, Sample Syllabus, C-Layer Rubrics!

During the 2018-2019 school year I tried Kathy Nunley's Layered Curriculum for my general physics class. The Layered Curriculum allows for differentiated learning, students choose from a buffet of activities that assess their learning. There are three layers, C, B, and A layers that corresponds to Bloom's taxonomy as well as the grade they get for that Unit. I averaged their layered grade with their quiz grade (50-50 split). The C layer consists of activities that help them to gain understanding; B layer consists of an inquiry lab that the students have to set up on their own; A layer consists of a debatable and researchable topic the students have to write about and argue for/against.

Overall, the students really enjoyed the hands on experience and it also challenged them to apply their learning.
