1) Blank Spelling Notebook Pages (students fill in)
2) Spelling Notebook pages- aligned with a popular whole-class program (pictures/keywords aligned)
3) Orton-Gillingham aligned Spelling Notebook pages- (pictures/keywords/phrases aligned with what I was taught in my OG training)
Some Suggested Uses:
- Print the desired pages to create a booklet (or put in a 3-ring binger tabbed by topic) as an ongoing record of the spelling patterns & rules your student(s) have learned. Students can fill in words (their own keywords & pictures too, if desired) as each rule is taught. Students can then use the pages as a reference sheet. The entire set can be printed and used with the student across several years of instruction.
- Print the notebook pages (with pictures & keywords filled in). Space has been left for students to add their own words.
- Print the notebook pages (with pictures & keywords filled in) to use as a student's phonics notebook reference pages. Add the date each rule was taught.
- Print the notebook pages (with pictures & keywords filled in) to use as classroom anchor charts for students (and teachers) to refer to during lessons.
- Print individual pages to use during word dictation. Have your students explain why they chose a spelling pattern by stating the rule that helped them decide the correct pattern.
