What educators are saying

Great resource for interventions and small group. It's also good to help reinforce the skills learned earlier in the year.
I loved this word work bundle. Students were able to get the skills they needed to be successful and do these sheets on their own. Students were learning and growing each day with this bundle.

    Description

This bundle of phonics activities and word work centers covers everything!

It contains all 10 of my Word Work center packs. These centers will take you through the whole year of instruction, covering a wide range of skills and standards: Sight Words, Letter instruction, Beginning and Ending sounds, CVC Words, CVCe words, Blends, Digraphs, and Vowel Teams.

In my kindergarten classroom, I had one word work center during literacy rotations. For example, in the beginning of the year, the center was "Beginning Sounds". Then we moved on to "Beginning and Ending Sounds" then "Building CVC words" or "Sight Word Construction". Once students understood the concept of the center, all I needed to do was change out the sheets weekly. Differentiation was a breeze, as students could work at different levels (ex: one working on Building CVC words, another on Beginning Sounds) with the same type of activity.

Sheets can be laminated and students can use dry-erase markers or magnetic letters to complete the activities. Recording sheets are provided for some activities.

INCLUDED YOU WILL FIND (click the link to see each product individually):

    1- Building CVC Words

    2- Building CVCe Words

    3- Sight Word Scramble

4&5- Sight Word Construction for Pre-Primer and Primer Words

    6- Building Blends & Digraphs

    7- Building Vowel Teams

8- First Sounds: A Beginning Sound Center

9- First and Last: A Beginning and Ending Sound Center
