Description

Are you looking for perspective taking activities for teens in middle and high school? These low prep task cards and no prep worksheets are perfect to work on social skills and perspective taking skills in both SEL and social skills groups. Students learn how to make social inferences and social predictions in order to make smart guesses about what others might be thinking and what they might say in a variety of age appropriate and relevant social situation examples.

****All activities are printable and available as a digital PDF /Google slides (google drive download) so students can complete the activities using a paperless/distance learning format*****

Have your teens practice perspective taking, inferencing and social skills by utilizing these fun “fill in the speech/thought bubble” task cards.

These cards are targeted toward teens (middle, high and secondary school) where your older students will get to practice:

1: Reading a social situation and interaction between different students

2: Making smart guesses about what the interaction may make students ‘think’

3: Making smart guesses about how the students may respond in that interaction (what they are likely to say)

Task cards can be laminated (when printed) so responses can be hand written using a dry erase marker so task cards can be reused. 55 different social scenario task cards are provided.

For each of the different social interactions/task cards, 2 social reflection worksheets are included to provide additional social inferencing practice pertaining to each specific social scenario.

An answer key is provided for worksheet responses.

Modified cards (with an option of 3 different answers) are provided those students who need a greater level of support/struggle with open ended questions.
