We love using our classroom word wall, but I believe in giving my students choices and options. Some students prefer this personal word wall to keep in their Writer’s Workshop folder. Included are over 400 words that your young writer might use while writing. It is used daily in my classroom!
There are several ways that you can use this personal word wall. I have listed just some of them below. Think about what your students need support with the most and use it to enforce that!
-Print out all four sheets and glue on a file folder. You can glue one on the cover, two in the inside, and one on the back. Then, laminate for durability. You can make one for each of your students, or a few to put out at your writing center. Students can refer to it when needed.

-Print out all four sheets and send home with students to use as a reference for writing while at home.
***OR print just ONE page of all the words in smaller font. You can also print a BLANK one page for your students to write their own!
