Description

YOU MUST HAVE ACTIVINSPIRE SOFTWARE TO DOWNLOAD THIS FOR A PROMETHEAN BOARD. I HAVE IT AVAILABLE IN POWERPOINT AS WELL IN MY STORE. This flipchart is for a promethean board, you can write on each page and it guides your students through the process of writing a small moment personal narrative using effective techniques (common core objectives: W3a, W3c, W3d, L2.e, W5.5, W3.b. This includes teaching the kids how to focus in on a small narrow moment, bold beginning, strong verbs, use of adverbs and adjectives to stretch sentences, use of dialogue and how to properly punctuate it, and use of figurative language/sensory details. There are 3 examples of small moment pieces written by authors and a student. The organization is shown. The flipchart is mapped out to last 6 days which then leads into prewriting, rough copy, revise/edit and final copy. The rubric is included in the chart and available for purchase to use for grading with common core objectives.
