This resource packet is designed to teach financial literacy concepts throughout the year as a classroom management system. Students earn income and pay expenses based on achievement of their educational goals and fines given for minor behavior offenses.

Students explore the connection between hard work, education, and career income. They set financial goals for what they will spend, save, donate, and invest. Vocabulary development, student entrepreneurs, record sheets with mathematical computation, game of chance and other engaging activities are included.

This resource is currently focused on third and fourth grade standards but it will continue to be updated to include 5th grade standards. If you purchase it now, you will get the update at no additional cost.

A third grade PowerPoint including standards 3-9A-F has been added to the original resources. It may also be helpful to other grades to fill in the gaps and review vocabulary.
