Person of the Week (Scientist & Mathematicians)

This is a google slide presentation that highlights the accomplishments of various scientists and mathematicians that have contributed to the world. I made this in order to bring some cultural awareness into my classroom and have chosen people of all different types of backgrounds.

2. September - Hispanic/Latino History Month
3. October - Disability Awareness Month & Italian American Heritage Month
4. November - Native American Heritage Month
5. December - Not a Specified Month so I did Young People (teenagers in science)
6. January - Not a specified month so I Inventors (also happen to be LGBT but that's not included in the presentation)
7. February - Black History Month
8. March - Women's History Month & Irish-American Heritage Month
9. April - Deaf History Month
10. May - Asian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month

This presentation fits my school calendar so I've made it where you'll be downloading a COPY instead of the original presentation so you can edit it to fit your calendar.
