Description
Make the most out of your calendar time! Patterns have been shown to help students in mathematical concepts such as multiplication and telling time. Rather than just throwing a number on the calendar grab some cards that incorporate patterns. Students always have fun when a new month begins and they need to figure out the new pattern.
- August: AB Pattern (backpack, bus)
- September: AB Pattern (scarecrow, apple)
- October: ABB Pattern (full moon, spider, spider)
- November: ABC Pattern (turkey, acorn, leaf)
- December: ABC Pattern (hat, cocoa, mitten)
- January: AAB Pattern (penguin, penguin, snowman)
- February: ABC Pattern (red heart, valentine, pink heart)
- March: ABCD Pattern (horseshoe, shamrock, gold, rainbow)
- April: ABCD Pattern (bunny, rain, flower, umbrella)
- May: ABC Pattern (flowers, butterfly, kite)
- June: AAB Pattern (sun, sun, lemonade)
- July: ABCD Pattern (flag, hot dog, watermelon, firework)
These cards coordinate with Carson Dellosa's Pocket Calendar set. Each card is 3"x 3" and the headers are 10"x3". While this is the pocket chart I use, many calendar charts will accommodate 3" x 3" cards.
Each month includes:
- Patterned number cards
