Typical pattern blocks are on a 1" scale, so you'll need to measure yours if you plan on making printable patterns to lay physical manipulatives on. Insert the shapes you'll need then size them according to the size of your manipulatives. I always do a test print before I create lots of patterns. Also, some software/platforms will insert them scaled exactly how I designed them (proportional sizes) and others will insert them all at the same height or width, which will result in you having to figure out proportions. Here's the sizes I use when I create anything (my pattern blocks are standard 1" scale):
Hexagon: 2 inch width
Trapezoid: 2 inch width
Square: 1 inch width
Blue Rhombus: 1 inch width
Tan Rhombus: 2 inch height
Triangle: 1 inch width
This clipart set is a collection of high quality .PNG files (300 DPI) for commercial or personal use. Each image comes in color and blackline (black and white) unless otherwise noted.
