Pattern blocks are excellent manipulatives for introducing kids to geometry and shapes as well as counting, sorting & classifying, number comparison, graphing and spatial reasoning skills!
This packet includes 13 engaging pattern block puzzles centered around the holidays, themes and special events of January & February. Kids can use pattern block manipulatives, stickers, or stencils to complete them. Embedded within each puzzle page is a recording and response box that can be used for assessment.
Perfect for whole class lessons, math centers, independent work, partner work, homework, or as take-home activities.
Color and B&W versions of each puzzle are included. Also, an “answer key” is available for each puzzle, which shows “guiding lines” of where the pattern blocks will fit.
Laminating or Sheet Protectors are recommended for the color versions.
