Description
This math activity uses pattern block manipulatives to work on the concept of line of symmetry. Based on real butterflies and flowers, students use the cards to build different butterflies or flowers and must complete the right side of the butterfly or flower along the line of symmetry. A great simple activity to introduce the concept of a line of symmetry in your kindergarten class. It can be used as a small group activity or for assessment!

→ 2 work mats: 1 colour and 1 B&W version
→ 16 task cards with half the design built along a line of symmetry (4 task cards to a page)
