Update: I added assignment #7 which is a 2 page written assignment. I also added all the assignments with odd solutions. I upload these to Google Classroom.

Included in this zip folder are 6 PDF files. 1 is an introduction and 5 are assignments. A brief description of each:

The intro is an 82 page file. It introduces the learner to:

1. How to develop Pascal's Triangle

3. How to use Pascal's Triangle to expand binomials

3. The difference in permutations and combinations. How to use Pascal's Triangle to evaluate n things taken r at a time in combinations.

Assignment #1 is a 16 question multiple choice file. The emphasis is developing Pascal's Triangle, evaluating n things taken r at a time, and the coefficients of binomials in expansion. It is on 1 page for easy printing.

Assignment #2 is a 24 question multiple choice and short answer file. The emphasis is developing the triangle, understanding the difference between permutations and combinations, and finding coefficients in binomials expansion.

Assignment #3 is like #2 but adds finding terms in expansion.

Assignment #4 is a 1 page 8 problem file. The student finds terms in the expansion of binomials.

Assignment #5 is like #4 but 10 problems and a full expansion problem

Assignments #2 and #3 can be printed or used at socrative.com and the socrative share numbers are included in the files.
