Description

Are your students ready to get cameras into their hands? Get them ready to start taking beautiful photos this year with a review of parts of the camera. While it doesn't go over every single aspect of the complexities of a DSLR camera, this is the first step in getting cameras into your student's hands and students comfortable taking photos! The parts of the camera presentation go over the major parts of the camera, where they are located, and their functions. **THIS CAMERA REVIEW IS SPECIFIC TO CANON REBEL EOS cameras because that's what I have! The documents are editable, but the images may not be accurate to your equipment if you use other cameras!

Then, review with a fun 1-day hands-on review activity. Students will take quick notes while they sculpt each part of the camera, using sculpy or air-dry clay! Assembling their own tiny camera is a great way to exercise a different part of the brain than just taking notes! I like to review once students are done schedule shifting in case anyone missed the first parts of the camera review to help everyone get on the same page!

-Parts of the camera notes doc to share or print and PowerPoint presentation

-Review activity that includes short writing and step by step photos for sculpting activity.
