What educators are saying

MY students really enjoyed the activities in this packet, great for the first look at the book parts.
Cute resource with graphics that keep the kiddos interested. We had "buddy books" on our lap and the kiddos found matching parts on their own books as we went through the slides.

Description

Teach the parts of a book in order from the cover, spine and pages to what is inside. These print concepts are essential for early readers. PowerPoint and worksheet. Lesson shows differences between fiction and nonfiction books, and explains how a book is organized, from the title page, table of contents, to the index and bibliography. Review at the end. The printable parts of a book worksheet is great for lower grades. Some slides are useful for enrichment but may be removed for lower-level learners or lower grades. Editable so you can differentiate. Animated graphics and animations make it engaging.

Did you know that you can use PowerPoints like this in video conferencing or Zoom for remote learning? You can share with your students in OneDrive and in Microsoft Teams, too. Just view in Slideshow mode. You can also upload to Google Drive and save as Google Slides, and it will automatically convert, and you can use it in Google Classroom. It is editable and easy to make adjustments if necessary. Please see full preview.
