The is the perfect accompaniment to the ORIGINAL Paragraph of the Week program on TpT! Paragraph of the Week Opinion Writing Prompts is a daily, scaffolded approach to OPINION paragraph writing that is perfect to help get your students writing good, solid, detailed OPINION paragraphs. Students will write one opinion paragraph weekly, focusing on the organization and format of the paragraph itself.
This resource follows the same format at the ORIGINAL Paragraph of the Week. It also includes digital GOOGLE SLIDES links for every prompt in both level 1 and level 2. That means that there is a paper version to print out OR a digital version to assign to your students! BOTH paper and digital are included in this file.
There are 12 writing prompts in this resource (plus 2 BONUS prompts). All of the prompts are student-centered so that they will not get bogged down on the topic but rather focus on writing the paragraph itself. The first level of the prompts are heavily scaffolded, resulting in a nice, solid paragraph.
