----

Students investigate and analyze the major epochs of history including the Paleolithic Era, Mesolithic Era, Neolithic Era, Copper Age, Bronze Age, and Iron Age. In learning about the different eras of history, students learn of the origins of Neanderthals, Homo Habilis, and Cro-Magnons, the development of sustained agriculture, stone tools, microliths, the smelting of copper and tin to create bronze, and much more!

Students complete an informative and challenging timeline to record key characteristics from each era, then participate in a fun "which came first" activity at the conclusion (which makes for a great assessment as well). This hands-on activity challenges students in a multitude of ways, including not just understanding the evolution of human life and civilizations, but also understanding timelines and how they function.

A full key is included!

Enjoy!
