Description
The Pragmatic Self-Rating Checklist (Adolescents) was developed with the assistance of parents, teachers and students. All have provided insight as to their interests with regard to social-language concerns. Of greatest influence in the development of this checklist was the input provided by my students who were able to identify their own weaknesses in communication.
The format and wording was specifically developed to be simple and direct, and as not to confound students who are already experiencing frustration within their academic and nonacademic settings. This checklist also enables the student to share his/her introspection on self-improvement.
