This Google Doc can be used in Google Classroom or made into another format to use elsewhere. It includes 2 pages.
This assignment is a good complement to my other listings that focus on Fitness Components. It would be great to use after your class has reviewed each of them previously, but could also be used as a stand alone assignment or a review of the fitness components.
The first page goes over the directions for the assignment with a rubric, a review of fitness components, and the start of some example activities for each component. The examples extend onto the second page. Also on the second page are the action steps for the assignment and the exercise log.
The students are given the challenge to do activities from each fitness component but get to choose which activity they do to get to at least 90 minutes.

Sample Google Classroom Instructions: (Feel free to modify to fit your class)
This week's challenge: Can you use the 4 fitness components that we have learned in the past few weeks in your exercise activities this week?
1. REVIEW the FITNESS COMPONENTS and example activities on Page 1 & 2.
2. PERFORM & RECORD at least 90 minutes of activity on the log on Page 2. Include Date/Day, Exercise, Time Duration, Fitness Component & Digital Signature (14 points)
3. INCLUDE in the log - Correct Fitness Component for each exercise activity performed. (4 points)
4. Turn in by ____________ (2 points)
Grading Rubric:
At least 90 minutes of activity entered into log correctly = ___/14 points
Matching Fitness Component in log = ___/4 Points
Turned in On-Time - Turned in by Sunday at 8:00pm = ___/2 Points
Total = ___/20
