PE Basketball Spanish/English Vocabulary Teacher Guide and Word Wall Resource

This basketball bilingual vocabulary volleyball resource was designed to give physical education teachers the ability to easily display frequently used basketball words for diverse students in their teaching area. This resource was developed as an idea created by my students to have our sports vocabulary words in both English and Spanish. I used to have words written on scraps of paper all over my desk, so unorganized. This truly has been my survival guide to clear communication with my ELL students. Actually what I have found out is my English speakers have enjoyed learning the Spanish words and increasing their vocabulary as well.

The vocabulary/word wall words are colorful and fun to use in your gymnasium. I put the basketball vocabulary  words on the wall at each workstation for students to use to help our ELL students comprehend the skills we are working on.  I also keep a binder and put my copy in plastic sleeves for easy access and accessibility to better communicate with the students. 

These Basketball Vocabulary cards are quite diverse and can be used in multiple grades (K-8).  For easy access I have provided some blank cards for you to add in your own basketball skill words that will meet the needs of your specific age group.
