About Lesson and WorkSheet

This can be used for multiple lessons, as it is provides a wealth of tips and lessons. The worksheet follows the lesson in our video: "Stop Making Excuses and Own Your Actions". We take the kiddos through three ways they can learn to take responsibility for their actions and avoid not-so-positive outcomes. So how can we own our actions and create those super positive outcomes?

Own Your Part: Whatever YOU do it is YOU doing it. No one else. It doesn’t matter what someone else may have done. That’s what THEY did. How you respond is YOUR action. Take responsibility for it.

Cause and Effect: For every action you take there is a consequence. Sometimes it results in a positive outcome and sometimes in a not-so-positive outcome. Because I didn’t study, I failed a test. Because I practiced all summer, I made the team. Cause and Effect.

Find A Solution: We can find a solution to almost everything. If we can think through the situation and know the consequences of our actions, good or bad, it can help us avoid those not-so-positive outcomes.

true/false, scenario thought-work, this-then equations, multiple choice, and journaling
