Who was Otzi the Iceman? If you want to teach about Otzi and prehistoric times in a way that promotes inquiry, you will love this printable and digital Otzi Activity! This activity uses different images of Otzi the Iceman and several of his artifacts to spark students' curiosity and critical thinking skills.
Students will analyze the eight "mystery clues" and document their observations and predictions in the provided chart as they try to answer the question: Who was Otzi the Iceman? The clues include images of when Otzi was discovered, his tattoos, his shoes, his backpack, his copper axe, and more! Then, there is an editable slideshow you can use to share the significance of each image with your students.
