Description

This worksheet helps students differentiate between closed, open, and VCe syllable types. It contains 20 different syllables for the students to sort between the 3 syllable types. Each syllable is either a common morpheme or syllable used in multi-syllabic words making this worksheet a great resource for older students that need to review their syllable types. This resource is also a great resource to check younger students' understanding of these syllable types prior to introducing multisyllabic words.
