What educators are saying

My 3rd grader needed some extra help with Syllables Types, this resource is perfect! clear and easy to follow. Using this with the Syllables Division packet. MY learner is making great process.

Description

I love using these sheets when I teach the 6 types of syllables. They are used as a teaching tool in your student's binder as you introduce each type of syllable. The front page lists the types of syllables and you can notate when the concept is introduced. The additional pages introduce the types of syllables along with some practice activities. This is best used in conjunction with hands on activities and lots of review and practice. You can teach syllables in any order depending on your personal sequence. Enjoy and let me know if you have any questions or ideas to improve this packet. Thank you!

UPDATED: lots more activities between syllable types for practice, practice, practice and a syllable sort with 66 cards and the 6 syllable types.

Updated with corrected version of "What is a Syllable?" sheet.

I have tutored as a private & certified/AOGPE Orton-Gillingham Tutor for over 20 years.
