What educators are saying

This was an awesome STEM project. We took them to the hall and "jumped them", took measurements, and even tied in averaging the class jumps and converting our measurements.
My students were very engaged. I did it first then had them follow my instructions. it was very successful!

Description

A great activity for Spring, Halloween. Leap Year or Frog Study Units.

PENS, Scissors and Glue stick required for decorating. These are origtami worksheet instructions only NO templates!

Origami is a great lesson plan filler activity – it supports, concentration, reading skills and basic maths skills. Making this a great STEAM based activity. This little jumping frog can also be used as part of physics lessons when discussing forces and trajectories.

I have selected the “easiest” of all origami frogs for your students. The folds are relatively basic and not too difficult. The students can then also have fun decorating their frogs and having some frog Olympic games against fellow students. Customise it for spring by adding ponds to jump over or Halloween by adding cauldrons!
