This easy-to-use order of operations digital resource includes a PDF with:
- 2 Links to 2 different Color by Number versions in Google Sheets
- Instructions
In this activity, students will:
- Evaluate expressions with and without exponents
- Evaluate expressions with and without parentheses
- Evaluate expressions that require all steps of order of operations
Using the Order of Operations Pixel Art Math Color by Numbers
- Students should view in Edit Mode: Students solve the 15 problems listed in the sheet and type their answers into the given spaces. This is self-checking - if they answer correctly, parts of the grid will automatically be colored in. If the answer is incorrect, no color will be added.
- The problems in the sheet are images, so students can’t edit these.
- You can give different versions to different students (15 questions in each version), or give students both versions for more practice; problems and patterns are different in the different versions.
- You can assign in Google Classroom, so each student has their own copy.
