What teachers are saying about this resource:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "I used this as a fun review activity after we had been learning order of operations. The students loved it as they could walk around the room to solve each problem."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "This activity was a great way to see if my students understood what was taught! After a brief lesson, I handed these out to groups of students to test their knowledge. Each student would solve the equation and then pass it on to another group member. Once each member in the group answered each card, the students compared answers. Then, the had engaging discourse to help each other get the correct answer. They enjoyed having the task cards, rather than a work sheet."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "I used this activity at the beginning of my Algebra 2 class for a review on the first day. It was a quick way to get students engaged and check to see what skills they remembered."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "My students loved this resource! Used it right before the holiday break, and turned it into a mini competition. It kept them engaged for the whole 45 minute class!"

Use parentheses, brackets, or braces in numerical expressions, and evaluate expressions with these symbols.
Evaluate expressions at specific values of their variables. Include expressions that arise from formulas used in real-world problems. Perform arithmetic operations, including those involving whole-number exponents, in the conventional order when there are no parentheses to specify a particular order (Order of Operations). For example, use the formulas V = s³ and A = 6 s² to find the volume and surface area of a cube with sides of length s = 1/2.
