Description

Opnion Writing is Common Core Aligned and will get your students writing their own opinions, arguments, and persuasive texts; weighing positive and negative points; and agreeing or disagreeing with other kids’ viewpoints on up-to-date subjects. Included are 52 separate worksheets that will get your students expressing their opinions, coming up with reasons and examples for their opinions, and writing short passages to explain their thought processes. Also great for distance learning!

Types of questions in this packet include: Opinion Writing, Hits and Misses, Persuasion, Weighing Positives, A Kid’s Viewpoint, Comparison, Pros and Cons, Quotes and Sayings, and Yes or No questions. These pages can be used as classroom activities, in writing centers, as groupwork, or as homework.
