Description

Help your students plan their opinion writing pieces with this persuasive writing graphic organizer! It includes spaces for all the components of a strong argumentative piece: introduction, either two or three reasons (and supporting details), and a conclusion. I've also included versions with or without consideration for the opponent's point of view so you can choose which best fits your students' needs.

Be sure to check out my mentor text sets so you can SHOW students what a solid opinion piece looks like! My Opinion Writing Mentor Text Bundle includes two sample persuasive pieces:

>> Opinion Writing: Elephants Don't Belong in Zoos

>> Sled Dogs: Built for the Race

For the steepest discount, you can grab ALL of my mentor texts (including personal narratives and informational writing) in my Writing Mentor Text Bundle - Sample Narrative, Opinion, & Informational Pieces.

In addition to the two opinion pieces listed above, this big bundle includes:

>> Sample Personal Narrative: Bees in the Graveyard

>> Sample Personal Narrative: The Bike Horn that Wasn't

>> Sample Memoir: Big Mike

>> Informational Text: Polar Bears

Happy teaching!
