Olympic Themed Test Prep Unit Plans

Get ready for state testing with these fun review unit plans!

These plans are flexible and can be adapted to fit the leveled material you need. Created with third grade in mind, these activities could be used 3-5. ELA and Math review activities that are Olympic themed, interactive, and help your students review for state tests. This could also be used for a fun review at the end of the year!

I usually take two weeks to complete the Olympics. One week for the winter ELA Olympics, and one for the summer math Olympics. Decorate your classroom with flags, Olympic rings, and paper torches to make it even more fun! Keep team points throughout, and end the two weeks with a closing ceremony, medals, and a celebration! You can use the activity ideas provided, adapt them to fit with resources you already have, or find free resources on Tpt to use during these Olympic events.
