This Halloween "Fill The Cookie Jar" set is a fun and YUMMY reward that students will love during the month of October!

Ideas for Use:

  • Whole class behavior incentive (when the cookie jar is filled, they get the reward they've been working for)
  • Individual visual reward system (great for students who need smaller visual reinforcements until a larger reward is given)
  • A reward to use at home with your young child who needs visual rewards
  • A fun counting activity or center for preschool-age children
  • A fine motor activity for preschool students to stick and peel cookies off the jar with velcro
  • Write numbers and letters on the cookies for early literacy and numeracy development (numbers 1-10 are included but feel free to print additional blank ones to go as high up as needed)
  • The possibilities are endless!

If using as a behavior incentive, I recommend that you write what students are working towards on the lid of the jar as a visual reminder.

Directions:

Print, cut, and laminate the jar and cookies. You can attach velcro or magnets to the cookies so they will stick to jar when a cookie is earned. If not displaying on a whiteboard, you can attach the jar to a cookie sheet and make it a cookie sheet game for children (perfect as a preschool/kindergarten center)

This is a digital download (you will not receive a physical item) and will be available upon receipt of payment.

Your digital download will include:

  • 1 orange jar in 3 styles
  • 1 page of plain Halloween cookies
  • 1 set of Halloween cookies numbered 1-10

They are sized for 8.5x11 printing but can be sized smaller before printing (change printer settings) to fit your needs.

Color

Colors may vary due to differences in screens and brightness.

Printing Instructions

Once you go to File>Print, choose your printer settings. If you want to print standard 8.5x11 paper size, choose: fit to printable area. I recommend printing on cardstock and laminating for durability.

Returns

There are no returns or refunds on digital downloads.

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Count to 100 by ones and by tens.
Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
