    Seesaw™ Google™

    This is a collection of digital math activities pre-loaded and ready to use with Seesaw™ and Google™ for 1st grade and 2nd grade number sense skills ideal for Distance Learning and Homeschool. Students practice odd and even numbers, expanded form, decomposing numbers, writing numbers in different ways, and word problems for Operations and Algebraic Thinking and Numbers in Base Ten math standards. The activities are differentiated and include digital manipulatives for a conceptual understanding of numbers to be used at home or at school.

    If you provide distance learning as a teacher or parent, integrate digital learning in your classroom, or homeschool, these interactive Seesaw™, Google Classroom™, PowerPoint, and PDF activities are perfect for you. They would work well for independent work, home learning, non-traditional instruction, intervention, and RTI.     Understand that the two digits of a two-digit number represent amounts of tens and ones. Understand the following as special cases:
    Add within 100, including adding a two-digit number and a one-digit number, and adding a two-digit number and a multiple of 10, using concrete models or drawings and strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction; relate the strategy to a written method and explain the reasoning used. Understand that in adding two-digit numbers, one adds tens and tens, ones and ones; and sometimes it is necessary to compose a ten.
    Understand that the three digits of a three-digit number represent amounts of hundreds, tens, and ones; e.g., 706 equals 7 hundreds, 0 tens, and 6 ones. Understand the following as special cases:
    Read and write numbers to 1000 using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form.
    Add and subtract within 1000, using concrete models or drawings and strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction; relate the strategy to a written method. Understand that in adding or subtracting three-digit numbers, one adds or subtracts hundreds and hundreds, tens and tens, ones and ones; and sometimes it is necessary to compose or decompose tens or hundreds.
