    Description

Learning to count to 10 is so much easier to do when children are having fun. These easy to prep adapted number books have kindergarten and pre-k students practicing numbers to 10 while reading simple books. The easy repetitive text will get have your students reading and counting in no time.

Using numbers to 10, these hands-on math books are both adapted and interactive for special education and young children. These books teach counting to 10, number recognition and one-to-one correspondence. To use the interactive books, students move the numbers, words or pictures onto the page (this varies according to the book). This encourages active participation and increases attention to task.

These adapted books are designed especially with the SPED student in mind, including those with autism and those with little or no verbal skills. Adaptive books improve expressive and receptive language skills while allowing children with poor fine motor and attention skills to participate. Adapted books also allow children with no fine motor skills to participate in the reading process by using eye gaze.
