Description

These colorful counting bears with numbered tummies were our first creation at aligncore! I was inspired by the little bear manipulatives with numbers on their tummies that indicate their mass in grams. I thought, what a great product that would be for printable (and digital) resources! Finally, they are here.

There are a total of 117 numbered bears in this giant clip art file! Each version has matching bears with the digits 0 - 9 on their tummies. There are 90 bears in rich, bright colors, 2 sets of completely black and white bears, and 9 transparent bears you can set over a colored background.

These images are perfect for language development, emerging math skills, and even more sophisticated math skills like finding the unknown in any place. Please note the blank counting bears are not included in this set, but you can grab them for free here.

All images included are the creative work of aligncore educational products. Please read and agree to the terms of use before making your purchase!

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Count to answer “how many?” questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1-20, count out that many objects.
Identify whether the number of objects in one group is greater than, less than, or equal to the number of objects in another group, e.g., by using matching and counting strategies.
