At the beginning of the school year, our students come to us at all different levels. Because of this, I started out with numbers 1-20 for August/September. Each month's learning objectives build on one another.
Anyone can memorize what a numberβs name is (symbol), but that does not mean that you know what it means. There is no meaning in the symbol. However, if you understand what the symbol (number) MEANS, eventually the symbol (the name) stands for all you know about that symbol.
