Number Practice and Letter Practice Video Bundle, Fun Foods

A fun way to learn numbers and letters! Children view pictures of their favorite fun foods while they practice letter recognition and number recognition. These videos are great for daily practice. A fun whole group activity to do with the teacher.

0-10 Video: Children recognize and say numbers 0-10. Numbers are grouped as follows: 0-5 (in order, countdown, and mixed); 6-10 (in order, countdown, and mixed); 0-10 (in order, countdown, and mixed).

0-20 Video: Children recognize and say numbers 0-20. Numbers are grouped as follows: 10-0 (countdown for review); 10-15 (in order, countdown, and mixed); 15-20 (in order, countdown, and mixed); 0-20 (in order, countdown, and mixed).

ABC/Letters Video: Children recognize and say upper-case and lower-case letters. There are two videos. The first video is in alphabetical order and letters are mixed in the second video.

The video with letters in order are grouped in the way that you normally say the alphabet: (A-B-C-D), (E-F-G), (H-I-J-K), (L-M-N-O-P), (Q-R-S), (T-U-V), (W-X-Y-Z), (a-b-c-d), (e-f-g), (h-i-j-k), (l-m-n-o-p), (q-r-s), (t-u-v), (w-x-y-z). With one letter on each slide, this helps children understand that l-m-n-o-p is actually five letters instead of one!

In the video with mixed letters, the letters are grouped according to similar formation. This will help children see the difference between similarly formed letters. The vowels are grouped together, and they are also duplicated among the consonants. The letter order and groupings with mixed letters are as follows: (A-E-I-O-U),(O-C-G-Q),(S-Z),(N-M-W-V-U),(B-P-R-D),(E-I-F-T-H-J),(A-L-X-K-Y),(a-e-i-o-u),(c-d-o-e-a),(b-p-g-q),(u-n-m-h-r),(i-j-l-t-f-k,x),(v-w-y-z-s).
