What educators are saying
We have always done a bat unit every year but this addition makes our learning so much more impactful. Love all of your Not your Average units!
Oh my gosh! We loved EVERYTHING about this mini unit. This was our second "not your average" to do in our room and the kids LOVE them. They are still going around telling me why bats are important for us weeks later. Thank you!
Description
October means BATS! There are countless activities and units dedicated to bats, but this is not your average unit! This unit was designed with global themes in mind! Throughout this resource, you will teach economics, history, stem, geography, and civics! We hope you enjoy this unit as much as we do!
The topics that we cover include:
Economics: How do bats help the economy?
History: When did bats and vampires get connected?
S.T.E.M: Can you design a bat house?
Geography: What's going on with the bats in Kolar, India?
Civics: What is wildlife conservation?
We hope that this will allow you and your students to deepen and enrich your thematic bat unit of study!
Make SOCIAL STUDIES important again!
