This lesson includes book recommendations, lesson extension ideas, two Meet the Composer slides for famous Norwegian composers (Edvard Grieg and Ola Gjeilo), an orffestration arrangement for the book The Lights that Dance in the Night, link to a video on the science behind the Northern Lights, instructions for a Norwegian folk dance (Seksmansril), link to videos and pronunciations for a Norwegian folk song with body percussion (Sol Sol Sol), and a SQUILT worksheet.
Formats include: PDF and a link to the Canva template so you can edit and change to best fit your classroom needs. You must create a Canva account to access it, but teachers can access Canva for Education for free!
