Description

Engage students' whole brain while teaching this fun reading strategy! Doodle notes engage verbal and visual centers in the brain which helps students retain information longer.

Notice & Note Signposts are engaging reading tools that send students on a scavenger hunt through a text to make deeper meaning. These notes would be a great way to introduce the topic to your students.

Each signpost has its own notes sheet:
- Extreme or Absolute Language
- Contrasts & Contradictions
- Numbers & Stats
- Quoted Words
- Word Gap

There are two sets of notes in this product:
- The first set is filled in and would be great for students who need modified notes.
- The second set is fill-in-the-blank so students can write in the notes.

Notice & Note Signposts can be used with many texts. Both sets of notes include a section for students to write down whatever example you choose depending on the grade level you teach.

The notes are standard size 8 1/2" x 11" but you could print them in a smaller size and have students glue into their interactive notebooks.
