What educators are saying

I love using the fill in the blank worksheet before and after reviewing the Nicene Creed with my 8th graders. The discussion questions also sparked a great discussion.
I loved this resource! it help me and my students dive deep into the creed. It also helped them practice it and understand what it really means since it has such difficult words. I love also the questions, it helped them reflect.

Description

This packet contains:

- a cut and paste activity, where students need to rearrange the words of the Nicene Creed in their proper order,

- a vocabulary worksheet for students to look up new words from the Creed,

- a set of reflection questions for students to discuss and/or write about.

- two different text formats of the Creed to be used during close reading activities. (One format includes definitions of key words in the margin, and the other includes space on either side for students to write questions about the text, along with reflections or thoughts as they read.)
