NEWS ARTICLE ANALYSIS w/ CER GRAPHIC ORGANIZER

This is a great way to test students comprehension skills. Students read and highlight important parts of a current news article. From there, they complete the question sheet, a summary of the article, and a claim, evidence, and reasoning graphic organizer.

The included article is suited for any subject, but works well for persuasive and scientific writing. But remember...can be used for ANY ARTICLE!!!!

This would make an easy NO PREP assignment for a sub day or on a day with an odd schedule like a pep rally or testing day.
