New York State (NYS) Enduring Issues Graphic Organizer and Sample Documents

These graphic organizers and sample documents colorfully and engagingly display the new enduring issues and themes that are outlined in the New York State (NYS) framework for Social Studies.

The new New York State (NYS) Regents Exam will require students to write one Enduring Issue essay. This graphic organizer template, along with sample documents, is an easy "first step" towards putting together a strong paper.

The documents provided reference the units Reconstruction, the Civil Rights Movement, the Industrial Revolution, the Progressive Era, the American Empire, and World War I.

The graphic organizer can be used for any enduring issue paper and is not just limited to the units provided!
