New Year's Digital Reading Comprehension Escape Room Grades 3-5 Google Slides

This is a digital escape room that would be perfect to assign your students remotely or in person. It is aimed at students in the 3rd-5th grade. The idea of the escape room is that the student is stuck in the classroom and they have to find the password to get home and get outside to Times Square and watch the ball drop. The student will need to click on objects around the digital classroom to find clues. Students will answer 9 different questions. All of the questions are self-checking. If a student gets a question wrong, they will be prompted to try again. After the student answers each of the 9 questions, they will gain the password to enter and unlock the door. When they click on the door, it will bring them to a google form and they will enter the password. If they enter the password successfully they will get a "Congratulations!" message. All of the questions have facts about New Year's topics such as resolutions, the history of New Year's Eve, celebrating in different time zones, and eating foods that are said to bring good luck.
