What educators are saying

I have used this for several years, right after returning from the holidays. It is a great, educational way to ease back into social studies.

After it's folded, they can work with a partner to play the game and answer questions designed to have them reflect on the past year and set goals for the upcoming year.

➡️ New Year's Parts of Speech Hidden Mystery Pictures: Help your students learn parts of speech during the New Year's with these fun hidden mystery grid pictures. A color code is provided and each box has a word that students must color based on what part of speech it is! Students must know their parts of speech to know which color to use. Included are 4 different New Year's puzzles that reveal an image of a calendar, firework, disco ball, and clock! The student handouts and answer keys are both included.

➡️ New Year's Figurative Language Assignments: These three ready-to-use figurative language assignments include a variety of New Year-themed sentences that incorporate an example of metaphor, simile, personification, alliteration, oxymoron, or onomatopoeia! What Teachers Are Saying About The Activities in the New Year's Activity Bundle:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have used this for several years, right after returning from the holidays. It is a great, educational way to ease back in.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is such a great resource for having students learn a sense of culture and diversity. My 8th graders really enjoyed reading about the different cultures and traditions. I used this as a group activity where I had small groups of students read and complete the questions for each country, then they had to do a "mini" presentation and teach the class what they learned. They loved being the teacher.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a fun activity to do either before holiday break or in the first days coming back to school after holiday break.
