What educators are saying

I really enjoyed this review for my students. It allowed them to reflect on multiple skills throughout our third grade year. It was also easy to use on Google Classroom.

Description

Do you need some fun, engaging math activities themed for New Year's Eve? Oh, AND you want digital paperless resources? Well, this truly NO PREP digital math review for google drive is what you are looking for.

Students either TYPE in their answer directly into the text boxes or MOVE digital manipulatives across the screen to answer questions.

New Year's Mixed Math Includes:
15 Google Slides Total

Place Value (Thousandths)
Three digit addition
Addition and Subtraction Word Problems

You can use this in so many ways. You can project it onto the whiteboard or SMARTboard (as long as the SMARTboard works with software other than its own), use it on iPads as a center, or during guided readubg chats. As long as the device can access your google drive, you're good to go!

No more center papers to assess! Google automatically saves each child's work in your Google Classroom so assessment is easy peasy with no paperwork either.

I've included instructions on how to assign this file to your class, but you will already be expected to know how to sign in to Google Classroom to do that.

Google is simply amazing. You need it in your life! If you have not signed up for these Apps yet, run!
My absolute most favorite thing about using Google Drive is that it saves *everything* you do automatically. My work is never lost anymore! But there are other great perks too:
*I don't need to take papers home to grade
*Lost center pieces do not need to be recut and remade
*This tech is fun! The students gravitate towards it and I enjoy it too!
*It is STILL hands on and my students are still using "digital" manipulatives
*No more lost papers/heavy bags

Technical Requirements:
You need Google Drive to access this file. If you are projecting onto a whiteboard or SMARTboard or using it for a teacher led math chat, that is all you need.
If you want to assign individual copies of a file to students to work on and then have them save their work individually, you need Google Classroom. Google Classroom is simply a way for you to assign and keep track of assignments for your class. You DO need your school to sign up for google classroom, but it is a free resource. It is only available to public/nonprofit schools as this time.
