- Google Docs™
Description
A pair of thorough exercises to review the steps for conjugating regular and irregular verbs in the imperative. These exercises are a great way for intermediate/advanced students to express negative informal commands in Spanish.
Exercise #1: Guided practice of regular verbs
Walk students through the process of conjugating 5 regular verbs in the imperative in order for them create their own sentences containing negative informal commands.
Exercise #2: Independent review of irregular verbs
Let students work independently to translate sentences containing negative informal commands into Spanish. Remind students to refer to their notes in order to correctly conjugate stem-changing verbs, go verbs, verbs with a orthographic change in the 1st person form, and irregular verbs (DISHES).
