In this pack there are a range of postersto help children develop their understanding of the basic needs for a plant to survive including:

• Nutrients / soil
• Water
• Sunlight
• Air and Space

Depending on the age of the children you teach, you may like to focus on the most basic needs (soil, water, air and sunlight) or more complex. Several different versions of the needs of a plant poster are included to accommodate for this. Please choose the one most relevant to the children you teach.

This pack includes:

• Plants Vs Animal brainstorm headings and Venn Diagrams to identity the difference between the needs of plants and animals.

•Needs of plants posters (multiple versions– see preview)

•Needs of a plant printable– children draw the needs of a plant. This can be used a simple yet effective assessment tool at the end of the unit.

•What do plants need? Heading to display around your classroom plant.

•Mini Plants need labels– print onto coloured card, add a pop stick and poke into a plant pot.

•Plants can,have are and need headings (for brainstorming).

•Plants have,can are and need printables (2 flip flap styles).

You can easily adjust the size of the posters by adjusting the size of your printer settings.
