I used this with my 8th grade students to revisit natural selection prior to state testing. They loved it so much! Almost every day I had students asking me if we could play the game again! I was worried that the higher level cards would be too much for some classes, but they were totally into the whole experience and wanted to see their classmates go extinct. I can't wait to use this resource again. It is by far one of the best resources I have purchased on TpT!
Best products I have seen for Science. It aligns to NGSS well. I am excited! If you teach Biology, you need to check out his products. Period. All reasonably priced for the quality of product.
My students really got into this game! They were so competitive, and it was funny to hear comments such as "Aw, no fair...you just reduced my fertility!" They wanted to play again after the game ended.
What a great game! My students and I played this game at the end of our Evolution and Natural Selection unit and it was a great way to culminate what they learned. They got very invested in their populations and they were excited to see what card was pulled next. What a great interactive game!
This was the hit of the year! I used it as a whole class game with my 2nd and 3rd graders in our unit on life cycles, ecosystems, and biodiversity. Loved how it fit right in with our talks on Mendel and Darwin. Fantastic resource!
