National Quality Standards (NQS) Outcomes Stickers Labels

National Quality Standard (NQS) has been introduced as a National benchmark for Early Childhood Education and School Aged Care Centres managed by Australian Children’s Education & Quality Authority (ACECQA). They are important in ensuring quality education and care services. These are used by centres in conjunction with the Being, Belonging, Becoming: Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and My Time, Our Place Framework for School Aged Care (MTOP).

As part of centre accreditation, planning and activities, Educators are aiming to achieve and exceed these standards in their own centres.

This package contains templates to be used to print stickers to use with Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), recording and planning documents, staff meeting notes, scrapbooks and photo albums. These show how activities, organisation and planning within the facility met NQS or to notify parents/caregivers, evaluators and stakeholders of the outcomes. There are stickers for the Quality Area, Standards and Elements titles. There is a separate page for each outcome in the NQS.

These stickers have been used in our centre in our Daily, Weekly and Vacation Care planning paperwork, on the title pages for each day in my Vacation Care folder, Quality Improvement Plan and attached to Staff Meeting notes with decision making. We also use them in our scrapbook to attach to pages of photos and kids comments from the day to show our reason for the activity for parents to see.

They are a great addition to our Quality Improvement Plans (QIP) in your OSHC, OOSH, OOSHC, EYLF, Childcare, Kindergarten, Early Learning Centre, Outside School Care and Out of School Hours Care.
