National Hispanic Heritage Month by Celebrating Students Knowledge of Self

This lesson helps the teacher to demonstrate an active discussion between students about their pride of culture and history. This pertains to National Hispanic Month as students also learn the heritage of the Monarch Butterfly telling its story about migrating back and forth between Mexico and the United States in order to continue its "circle of life". This lesson could also be used to introduce students to the Monarch Butterfly and other wildlife in a neighborhood park.
